In the name of God amen. I ANDREW CHRISTY of North Huntingdon Township Westmoreland County in the State of Pennsylvania (Farmer) being in perfect health of body and of sound mind memory & understanding. Blessed be God for the same but considering the uncertainty of this life do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following viz principally and first of all I commend my immortal soul into the hands of God who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in a decent and christian like manner at the discretion of my Executors herein after mentioned, and, as to such wordly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give and dispose of the same (Reg. 439) in the following manner viz first I will that all my just debts and funeral expences be paid. I give and bequest to my two sons ANDREW and SAMUEL all my estate real and personal subject nevertheless in the incumbrance and payment of all my just debts and legacies herein after mentioned this land to be equally divided between them ANDREW to have the end of the place I now on and SAMUEL the other end and, ANDREW to assist SAMUEL to build a barn on his end, I give and bequeath to my daughter JEAN one dollar to be paid by my son ANDREW I give and bequeath to my daughters NANCY ELIZABETH ISABELLA and ESTHER one horse creature worth fifty dollars a good saddle and two cows one bed and beding Each to be paid to item at any time after they arriveto the age of eighteen years respectively or at the time of marriage If before they arrive to that age NANCY and ELIZABETH to be paid by my son ANDREW and ISABELLA and ESTER to be paid by my son SAMUEL. And lastly I nominate, constitue and appoint DANIEL FLEMING of said County and State to be Executor of this my last Will hereby revoking all other wills legacies and bequests by me heretofore, made and declaring this and no other to be my last will and testament, in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this sixth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twelve 1812. Signed ANDREW CHRISTY (Seal) Signed sealed published pronounced & declared by the said Testator as his last Will and Testament in presence of us who in his presence and at his request have subscribed as Witnesses JAMES HARE DANIEL FLEMING JUNr Westmoreland County et al Before me Robert Montgomery Register in and for said County personally came JAMES HARE and DANIEL FLEMING Junr who being sworn according to Law deposith that they were present and swore ANDREW CHRISTY who is now deceased sign the foregoing instrument and declare the same to be his last Will and Testament that at the execution thereof he was as they believe of sound mind memory & understanding That they signed as witnesses in the presence of the Testator and at his request sworn this 17th August A.D. 1818. Andrew died betwen 6 May 1812-17 Aug 1818.
