Wills: Ensign Henderson, 1886: Bolivar Ben, Westmoreland Co I, Ensign Henderson of Bolivar Ben, County of Westmoreland and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind and memory, do hereby make, publish, and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament, in manner and form following; hereby revoking any will or wills heretofore made by me. First, I direct all my just debts and funeral expenses to be fully paid and satisfied, as soon as conveniently may be after my decease. 2nd - I give and bequeath to my Son James A. Henderson, the Two Lots of ground situated in the Ben of Bolivar, Westmoreland County, State of Pennsylvania together with the Dwelling House, Blacksmith Shop and other improvements Situated on South West corner of Third & Market in the Bor of Bolivar Westmoreland County Pa. 3rd - I also further give to my son James A. Henderson all the Household good of every description. Such as Beding, furniture, dishes and all personal property. 4th - I further direct that the Said James A. Henderson (my son) pay to Sallie Welshons the Sum of Twenty-five Dollars after my Decace and to Rebecca McDowell the Sum of Fifty Dollars after my Decease and to Fannie Henderson Seventy-five Dollars after my Decase and to Dushane Henderson the Sum of Fifty Dollars after my Decase. At Bolivar on this day of October 1886 the above named Ensign Henderson Signed, Sealed this instrument and published and declared the same to be and for his last Will and we in his presence and at his and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
