I, James Hoy, of Franklin Township in the County of Westmoreland, being of sound mind and memory thanks be to almight God for the same and knowing the certainty of death and the uncertainly of the time thereof , do think right and proper to make this my last will and testament as follows: After my decease, I direct that I be buried in a decent Christian burial and that all my just debts be paid as soon as may be. First, I give and bequeath unto my beloeve wife, Nelley Hoy, all the personal property that may remain after my just debts are paid and it is my will that my wife, Nelly, shall live in the large new house as long as she may think proper and to hve her living of the whole place during her natural life. Further, I do give and bequeth unto my two sons, James and Joseph, the Plantation on which I now live to be equally divided. My son, James to enjoy that part including the upper improvement next Kesters andy my son, Joseph, shall have and enjoy that end of the place next John Beacoms. To have and to be enjoyed by them when they arrive at the age of twenty one with incumbrance of the mother's support. Further, I do will and bequest to my son Samuel one Dollar when he shall arrive at the age of twenty one years. Also I do give and bequeath unto my two daughters, Jane and Elizabeth each one dollar when they become of age. I also will that my son, William, be put to a trade as soon as may be thought best, and should my son, Samuel, not inherit the real estate of my sister, Anny Hoy, by will or otherways, then in that case he is to come in as an equal sharer with James and Joseph in my real estate. But should he inherite the real estate of my sister, Ann Hoy, then he is to stand debarred from any claim against the said James and Joseph. And lastly, I do constitute and appoint my friend, Jacob Dible of Franklin Township in the County of Westmoreland andy my beloved wife, Nelly Hoy, exeutors of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all others.
