Newhouse Kelanic October 18, 2001 No. 55 of 1877 Last will and testament of Jacob Linsibigler Penn Township Deceased "In the name of God amen. I, Jacob Linsibigler of Penn Township, Westmoreland County, and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainces of this frail and transitory life, Do therefore make ordain and declare this to be my last will and testament. First after all my lawful debts are paid and discharged. The residue of my Estate real and personal, I bequeath, and dispose of as follows. To my beloved wife Esther my home and farm on which I now reside during the term of her natural life. Provided she remains unmarried. but if she marries, then the farm passes from her in the same way it would at her death if single. In addition I also give her two cows, as many hogs, as much household goods and furniture as she may select or as is necessary for her own use and special benefit. The residue of my personal property to be sold at public vendue, and the proceeds put at interest for her maintenance and for keeping said property in good repair. To Margaret Jane Widow - of John Lencaster I bequeath the sum of Fifty Dollars , to Richard and William sons of John Loncaster I give to each of them one hundred and fifty Dollars. To Tillie Loncaster I give one hundred dollars And to Marg Loncaster, I give one hundred and fifty Dollars This I give them in hopes they will perpetuate my memory. And out of respect for the esteem and friendship I intertain for my deceased friend John Loncaster , and if Margaret Jane Loncaster or any of the children of John Loncaster herein Mentioned should die previous to my decease, then their share or shares to be divided among the surviving children of said John Loncaster Said legacies to be paid at my wifes death or Marriage at which time I give bequeath and devise all the residues And remainder of my real and personal Estates to my friend John H. Brown or his heirs to have and to hold forever. Likewise I make constitute And appoint said John H. Brown to be sole Executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all wills by me made. In Witness whereunto I have here made my own mark by my own hand. and by my own directions. My name and seal are hereunto subscribed this fifteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand and Eight hundred and Seventy One."
