Being in a Reasonable State of health of Body, and of sound mind memory and understanding (praised be God for the same) and considering the Certainty of Death and the Uncertainty of the time thereof, and to the end I may Be Better prepared to leave this world whenever it shall please God to call me hence, do therefore make and Declare this my last will and testament in manner Following that is to pay first and principally, I commend my soul to the hands of Almighty God my Creator, hoping for the free and full pardon of all my Sins, and to enjoy everlasting happiness in the heavenly kingdom through Jesus Christ my savior and my Body I Commit to the Dust to be Buried in a Christian Decent mannor at the Discretion of my Executors herein after named and as touching my worldly estate with which God hath Blessed me in this life. I Dispose of in the following manner, and first I will that all my Just Debts at my Decease if any there may Be together with my funeral expenses and Just and lawful Charges touching the proving of or otherwise Concerning this my last will shall in the first place out of my personal estate and effects Be fully paid and Satisfied, and also I Bequeath unto my Beloved wife Esther all my household and Kitchen Furniture, two beds and Bedding, also two Cows, During her natural lifetime also six Sheep. I also Bequeth unto my Daughter Mary Hooper the sum of Fifty Dollars to Be paid unto her after my decease and also the Decease of my Beloved wife. I also Bequeath unto my son Brice Regan the sum of fifty Dollars all to be paid in Clothing. I also will and Bequeath unto the heirs of my Son Collin C. Reagan Descd the sum of one dollar Each as I had already given him his part in full. I also will and Bequeath unto the heirs of my Son Alexander Reagan the house he now lives in and also the lot that the house now stands on and our other lot on the east side of the Perryopolis Road, adjoining a lot Sold to Collin C. Tarr on the South, Samuel Myers on the East and others Supposed to contain Two Acres By the _?_ more or less. the paid lot extending on the South of Collin C. Tarrs lot so far as where the old road went along Straight to Daniel Myers Corner near the little run, Excepting the lot that I gave Daniel Tarr a Deed for, giving my son Alexander Reagan the privelege of Occupying the said house and lots During his natural life, as I have already given him his part in full. I also will and Bequeath unto Philip Reagan the heir of my son Philip Reagan Decd. the sum of One hundred Dollars in his last payment of the land. I also will and Bequeath unto my grandaughter Emily Picking, Formerly Emily Reagan the sum of fifty Dollars, as I had given my Son Philip Reagan his part in full. I also will and Bequeath unto the heirs of my daughter Martha Sherbondy Decd, the sum of two hundred Dollars to Be equally Divided among them at the decease of myself and wife. I also will and Bequeath unto my Daughter Alee [or Alu] Reagan the sum of Four hundred Dollars. Together with a Bed and Bedding. I also will and Bequeath unto the heirs of my Daughter Louiza Templir Decd the sum of one hundred and fifty Dollars to Be equally divided among them after the Decease of me and my wife. I also will and Bequeath unto my Daughter Esther Tarr and Frances Sherbondy the sum of Six hundred Dollars to be paid to each of them, that is three hundred Dollars to Be paid to each of them after the Decease of myself and wife and do hereby nominate appoint and Constitute John B. Tarr and Esther Reagan my wife my Executors of this my last will and Testament hereby Revoking Disannulling and making Void all former wills Declaring this to Be my last will and Testament and further I do hereby impower my executors to make a Deed unto Harrison Reagan and Philip Reagan when the shall make the last payment. In testimony hereof I have hereunto set to my hand and Seal this eighth day of June in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and Forty One.
