Kelanic December 30, 2000 Will of Sarah Rogers 1517 "In the name of God amen. I Sarah Rogers widow of Peter Rogers deceased, of Unity Township Westmoreland County and State of Pennsylvania, Being weak in body but of sound mind, memory and understanding, considering the uncertainty of this transitory life, think fit to make this my last Will and Testament in the following manner, Viz. I recommend my Soul to God who gave it, and my body to the Earth, to be buried in a christian like manner, and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bestow upon me in this world. I give and dispose of them in the following manner, after all my Just debts and funeral expenses is paid Thus first and last I give and bequeath all my personal property unto Henry McGuire. My only child - with the exception of my wearing apparel, which I have given to Mary Newhouse daughter of George Newhouse my dress Bonnet, two callico dress frocks, and one Green quilted Petticoat. Also one dress Shawl I have also given all the balance of my wearing apparel to Cathrine Richard And I also give my deceased husbands profile to his father John Rogers And I do constitute and appoint Hugh Jamison, of the before mentioned township, County and State, Executor of this my last will and testament. Revoking all other former wills by me made , and giving him full power and authority to execute the same. In testimony Whereof I Sarah Rogers, the testator, have to these presents, it being my last will and testament set my hand and seal dated this twenty - second of February in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and Forty - four" [Signature] Sarah [her X mark] Rogers Signed Sealed and acknowledged by the testator in presence of us the subscribers to be her last Will and testament [Signatures] Charles Richard Wm S.
