Newhouse Kelanic February 5, 2002 No. 46 of 1863 Last will of Adam Seanor "In the name of God Amen I Adam Seanor of Derry Township. Westmoreland County and State of Pennsylvania being Sick and weak in body, but of Sound mind memory and understanding praised be God for it; Considering the certainty of death, and the uncertainty of the time thereof and to the end I may be the better prepared to leave this world whenever it Shall please God to call me hence, do therefore make and declare this my last will and testament in manner following (that is to say) first and principally I Commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator, and as to Such worldly Estates wherewith it hath pleased God to intrust me I dispose of the Same as follows Viz: I will and bequeath to my beloved wife of my personal property Viz: Three Good Cows and three hogs and I will and bequeath to my wife all the household furniture that She may choose and desire to keep. all the ballance of my Estate both real and personal I order and direct to be put up at Public Sale and the highest bider Shall be the buyer and the proceeds of Such Sale (after the payment of all my just debts and funeral Expenses. to be divided and disposed of as follows viz: to my beloved wife Elizabeth I will and bequeath the one third of the Said proceeds of my Estate during her natural life and the ballance of Such proceeds to be devided Equally among my children now living Share and Share alike with the understanding that the amounts of money already paid to my Sons John Lewis, Adam and my Daughter Mary is to be deducted out of and considered as part of their Share of Said proceeds of my Estate) all moneys due me by bond note or Book account I order to be put into the hands of my Executors and after all my just debts and funeral Expenses are paid and the proving and Recording of this my last will the ballance I order to be paid to my children Share and Share alike and as I have give my farm to my Sons John and William to farm on the Shares for the fall crop and also for the Spring crop I order and it is my desire that these contracts be considered valid and binding and carred out according to our agreement , and I do hereby nominate Constitute and appoint Robert Foster of Salem Township and John Mourer of New Alexandria Executors of this my Last will and Testament I witness whereof I the Said testator have to this my last will and Testament Set my hand and Seal the Seventh day of March A D 1857 Witness" "Signed Sealed and delivered by the Testator as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us" Michael Sadler Jonathan Null Adam [his X mark] Seanor [seal] "Legally Proved and approved this 24 th Day of October A D 1863 Same day recorded & Letters Issued to Robert Foster & John Mourer who was Sworn Before me" W.
