Markle 11/97 In the name of God Amen, I George Sechrist of Westmoreland County State of Pennsylvania, farmer, being weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in the manner and form following to wit. First it is my will and I do order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duely paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be [made] after my decease. Item 1st. I give an bequeath unto my dear wife Mary all my personal property together with all household furniture and kitchen utensils that she may please to keep. And also all my land and real property of which I am now or may be in possession of or own at my decease to use as she may think proper for her maintenance and comfort during her natural life and at her death all my property real and personal that may be left I Will and bequeath to Mary Leonard now wife of George Wagner [Wagnor?] during her natural life and at her death to fall to the children to be used and disposed of by them as they may think proper. And lastly I nominate, constitute and appoint my said wife and Philip Fox to be the Executors of this my will hearby revoking all other will legacies and bequests by me heretofore made and declaring this and this only an no other to be my last Will and Testament. In Witness where of I have here unto set my hand and seal the thirty first day of January one thousand eight hundred thirty seven his George Sechrist mark Signed sealed and delivered by the said testator as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, Isassc Fulton, James Fulton Westmoreland County, Personally appeared before me --. Cooke Register for the Probate of Wills in and for said County, Isaac Fulton and James Fulton, ------- witnesses to the ------ will of George Sechrist, who upon their solemn oaths depose and say that they were present at the execution of the same and saw him the said testator make his mark at the end thereof and heard him declare it to be his last Will and Testament and at the time of so doing he was as they believe of sound and dis---- mind, memory and understanding and that they signed their names as witnesses to the same at the request and in the presence of the said testator. ----- and subscribed this 12th day of June AD 1845 D.
