Will of Magdalena SHANER
deceased

In the name of God amen.  I Magdalena Shaner being in good health of body and of sound 
and disposing memory and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs while I have strength 
and capacity so to do do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking 
and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made and first and 
principally I commit my (***) soul into the hands of my Creator who gave it and my body 
to the earth to be buried in the burying ground at Adamsburgh Westmoreland County PA 
along by the side of my sister at the direction of Executor hereafter named  And as to the 
worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to entrust me  I dispose of the same as 
follows to wit  First I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Susanna Elizabeth 
Lacy my house and two lots of ground situate in the village of Industry Allegheny County  PA 
 She my aforesaid daughter Susanna Elizabeth is to help me and make me comfortable 
as long as I shall live and to give me the attention that the circumstances may require 
during the remainder of my stay on earth and that without her making any charge  
therefore second  I give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Mary Ellen Lacy my bureau 
and my big bed stead with matress .o. tick together with two blankets one comfort & four 
quilts also one new quilt her choice  and I give to William **** Lacy my clock and to 
George Abbot Lacy I give my small bedstead with tick blanket comfort and quilt  Also his 
choice of the new quilts after Mary Ellen has had her choice and the remainder of my 
household effects I give share and share alike to the two younger children of my daughter 
Susanna Elizabeth to wit Thomas and Howard  Third I give and and bequeath my house 
and one acre of ground to my beloved son Eli Shaner said house and lot of ground is 
situate at what is known as Summerhill Westmoreland County Pa  and Fourth I hereby 
nominate constitute and appoint Daniel Marsh of Cowensburg Westmoreland County Pa 
executor of this my will   In witness whereof I the said testator Magdalena Shaner have to 
this my last will and testament set my hand and seal the eighth day of April AD 1887

Signed and published and declared by the said Testator Magdalena Shaner as and for her 
last will and testament in the presence of us who in her presence and at her request have

June 16 1891 legally proved and approved same day recorded and letters Testy granted to
