Robinson who, being duly sworn according to law, declares that he is 67 years of age, and a resident of Lake Carey county of Wyoming State of Penna; and that he is the identical person who was enrolled at Towanda under the name of Thomas M. Robinson, on the 18 day of August, 1863, as a Private, in Co. A 57th Penna Vols in the service of the United States, in the Civil war, and was honorably discharged at near Washington D.C., on the 29th day of June 1865. That he also served no other service. That he was not employed in the military or naval service of the United States otherwise than as stated above. That his personal description at enlistment was as follows: Height, 5 feet 8 inches; complexion, light; color of eyes, blue; color of hair, brown; that his occupation was Farmer; that he was born July 25, 1845. DECLARATION FOR WIDOW'S PENSION Sate of Pennsylvania, County of Wyoming, ss: On this 6th day of January, 1919, personally appeared before me, a Justice of the Peace within and for the County and State aforesaid, Eva Robinson who, being duly sworn by me according to law, declares that she is 48 years of age and that she was born February 10th, 1870, at Scranton, Pa. That she is the widow of Thomas M. Robinson, who enlisted August 18th, 1863, at ÖÖ under the name of Thomas M. Robinson, as a Private in Company A 57th Regt Penna Vols and was honorably discharged June 29th, 1865, having served ninety days or more during the Civil War. That he also served no other service. That otherwise than as herein stated said soldier was not employed in the United States service. That she was married to said soldier September 8th, 1888, under the name of Eva Bullard, at Tunkhannock Pa, by Ziba Lott J.P.; that she had not been previously married; that he had been previously married, to Sarah Waltman of Bradford County Penna, on the 27th day of August 1867, Sarah R. Robinson died June 14th 1884. and that neither she nor said soldier was ever married otherwise than as stated above. That said soldier died January 2nd, 1919, at Tunkhannock, Wyoming Co., Penna; that she was not divorced from him; and that she has not remarried since his death. That the following are the ONLY children of the soldier who are NOW living and under sixteen year of age, namely: [none listed].
