The Kane Republican (Kane, Pennsylvania) 21 Apr 1973
A well known former area man, Elmer Nordahl, 72, of Nicholson, Pa., died Friday
April 20. He was born in 1901 in West Kane. During his residency in Nicholson, he
was a prominent business man and former mayor. He was an active member of the
Presbyterian Church there. Survivors include his wife, Margaret, of Nicholson; two
sons, Edwin and Emerson; two sisters, Mrs. Marian Walter of Pittsburgh and Mrs.
Fulmer D. (Mildred) Hill of Kane and one brother, Edwin Nordahl of Kane; three grand
children and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at a
Nicholson funeral home.
