  Elizabeth E. Bucher, wife of Jacob F. Bucher was born June 29th A.D. 1852.
  Died March 5th A.D. 1903, aged 50 yrs. 8 mo. 6 days.
  
  My son John Emery Bucher was born Aug. 24th A.D. 1872.

  Grandfather Michael Bucher was born Sept. 28th A.D. 1762, 
  died Dec. 31st A.D. 1831, aged 69 years 3 months & 2 days.
  
  Grandmother Elizabeth Bucher was born Aug. 15th A.D. 1770 & 
  died Sept. 22nd A.D. 1857. Aged 87 yrs, 1 mo. & 7 days.
  
  John Bucher was born July 1st A.D. 1794, 
  died Aug. 20th, A.D. 1832, aged 39 years, 1 month & 19 days.
  
  Uncle Michael Bucher was born May 25th A.D. 1797 & 
  died Dec. 14th A.D. 1860. Aged 63 yrs, 6 mo. & 19 days.
  
  Aunt Mary Waltman was born Oct. 24th A.D. 1791 & 
  died Feb. 11th A.D. 1879, aged 87 yrs. 3 mo. & 19 days.
  
  Aunt Elizabeth Bucher was born Jan. 4th A.D. 1802 & 
  died June 14th A.D. 1892. Aged 90 yrs. 5 mo. & 10 days.
  
  My Father Jacob Bucher was born Jan. 18th A. D. 1808 & 
  died Aug. 6th 1879.  Aged 71 yrs. 6 mo. & 18 days.
  
  My Mother Nancy Bucher was born Feb. 2nd A.D. 1817. 
  Died Sept. 15th A.D.  1892, Aged 75 yrs. 7 mo. 15 days.
  
  Joseph Emery died Aug. 11th 1874 aged 60 yrs.
  
  Mary Jones died Aug. 29th 1897.
  
  John Emery died March 18th 1889 aged 54 yrs.
  
  Lavina Emery died July 10th 1879 aged 79 yrs. 2 mo. 20 days.
  
  
  The Bible from which the above record was taken is now in the possession
  of the Adams County Historical Society. 
  
  Some of these individuals are buried in Bucher Burial Grounds.
