REED W. ANDERSON, son of Joseph R. and Elizabeth (Wilson) Anderson, was born on 
the old homestead December 24, 1840.  The father was a native of York County, 
Penn., and the mother of Harford County, Md.  Our subject now owns and occupies 
the old homestead place, which consists of 161 acres of land.  He was married 
January 14, 1875, to Martha A. Brown, daughter of Milton and Sarah Brown, of 
Lancaster County, Penn.  By this union they have been blessed with two children, 
Annie M. and Nora B.  Mr. Anderson is a member of the Presbyterian Church of 
Centre.
