GEESEY is a son of Jonathan and Sarah (Flinchbaugh) Geesey, natives of York County, Penn. His father was one of the early day men of York county, and for half a century lived on the farm now owned by the subject of this sketch. Pius E. is the seventh child in a family of nine children, and was born July 5, 1845, on the Geesey homestead, which he purchased at the death of his father and where he now lives. By occupation he is a farmer. In 1873 he married Miss Malinda Miller, daughter of Jacob Miller, of Windsor Township. Three children have blessed their union: Jacob Jonathan, Adam M. and Mary Edith. Mr. and Mrs. Geesey are members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
