GLATFELTER, son of H. K. and Lucinda (Elhart) Glatfelter, was born in York Township, December 6, 1856. He was educated at the township schools, and after completing his school work took up the study of dentistry at Adamstown, and began the practice of his profession in Adams County, where he remained two years. In 1879 he located in Dallastown, where he has been very successful in his profession. Dr. Glatfelter was married, in 1876, to Lizzie McLean, daughter of Jacob McLean, of Adams County. They have two children: Melvin and Maud. The Doctor and wife are members of the Lutheran Church.
