Battey Publishing Co., 1886. _______________________________________________ Part II, Biographical Sketches, North Codorus, Pg 159 WESLEY GLATFELTER, recorder of deeds for York County, is the second son of George and Christiana Glatfelter, and was born December 7, 1848, in North Codorus Township. Mr. Glatfelter received only a common school education, but took advantage of every chance that was afforded him to improve his mind by study, and he is to-day one of the best informed men in North Codorus Township, and has taught school for seven terms in his native township. March 12, 1874, he married Melinda C. Rohrbach, daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Rohrbach, and five children blessed their marriage: Warren A., Laura I., Jennie L., Elizabeth A., and Annetta W. Mr. Glatfelter has held various township offices at various times, and is a member of the order of K. of P., also a member of the Jeffersonian Democratic Association of York.
