Battey Publishing Co., 1886. _______________________________________________ Part II, Biographical Sketches, Manchester Township, Pg 137 HENRY HOFF, son of Henry and Mary (Moul) Hoff, was born in Manchester Township, York Co., Penn., March 16, 1830, and was reared on his father’s farm. The father was born in this township, and the mother in Heidelberg Township, near Hanover, Penn. They had six children: John, Rebecca, Mary, Henry, Samuel and Susan. Our subject was married, November, 1859, to Sarah, daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Baer, of Conewago Township, this county. By this union they have been blessed with four children: Albert, Henry B., Eli W. and an infant, deceased. Mr. Hoff is the owner of a valuable farm, well cultivated and improved. The village of Mt. Wolf, where Mr. Hoff resides, is built on land owned by his father, Henry Hoff.
