Battey Publishing Co., 1886. _______________________________________________ Part II, Biographical Sketches, Wrightsville Borough and Hellam Township, Pg 80 AMBROSE MILLER, son of George and Susan Miller of Lower Windsor Township, was born February 19, 1860, and passed his boyhood on the farm, attending school during the winters. From the age of eighteen years until his majority, he served an apprenticeship at blacksmithing with Henry S. Heindle of Hellam Township. In 1881, he came to the village and worked for a year for James Ray, whom he then bought out, and is now receiving an encouraging patronage in custom work.
