JAMES H. RAMSAY, deceased, was born in 1844 in Peach Bottom.  He began teaching at fourteen 
years and at seventeen years entered Princeton College.  He did not graduate on account of 
losing his eyesight.  He was a very remarkable young man and possessed a wonderfully vigorous 
mind.  He died February 22, 1884.
