SAMUEL WORKINGER, son of Jesse Workinger, present sheriff of York County, Penn., 
was born February 9, 1843.  He was married in 1866, to Miss Agnes R. Warner, 
daughter of Jacob Warner, of Chanceford Township.  They have one child, Alice M.  
Mr. Workinger is a leading citizen, and has held positions of public trust in 
Chanceford Township.
