MARKEY BURIAL GROUND

This cemetery is located on the "old Markey place," Washington
Township,  York county, Pennsylvania near Markey's Fording,  Conewago
Creek.

The note of those who read it in the 1930s said that it was in very
poor condition and quite overgrown with briars with some of the stones
worn almost smooth and unreadable.  No information on the present
ownership of the land or the condition of the cemetery.
