Cemetery: Alpine Road (Benders), Lewisberry, York County, Pennsylvania

From Lewisberry, take PA 177 south to Alpine Road, Turn left onto Alpine Road.  
Off road on right side on north end of Pinchot State Park.

Today My husband and I took a drive around Pinchot State Park, north of
Dover, Penna. and in the woods, along side of the road we found this very
old cemetery, that had only 5 stones we could read. But you could see
several sink holes that would indicate that at lease 3 or 4 rows of burials.

No Stones there. Here are the names I could read.





Stickler, Susan b- Dec.,5, 1809  	d- Oct.,19, 1820

Mary Byers   				d- Sept.,24, 1842      74 years.

Jacob Steckel   			d-Jan.,2, 1796    53 yrs

Michael Jacob  	b- Nov.,20, 1772   	d-June,23, 1846

Elizabeth    				d-Feb.,24,1811      68 yrs.

   could not read Elizabeth's last name.
