Written: June 6, 1774

Came into Court John Herman one of the sons of Nicholas Herman Deceased aged 
fourteen years and upwards and prayed to be permitted to choose a guardian to 
take care of his Eatate and being thereupon asked chose Philip Wintermyer which 
being approved of by the Court.  It is thereupon ordered that the said Philip 
Wintermyer be and is hereby appointed to be guardian over the Estate of the 
said John Herman.
