     " Petition of Philip Kohler eldest son of Baltzer Kohler, late of 
Manchester township, York County deceased, was read to the court setting for 
the That said Baltzer died intestate leaving widow SARAH, and children to 
wit, PHILIP, HENRY, JACOB, JOHN, CHRISTIANNA, intermarried with JACOB FREY, 
and issue of CATHARINA intermarried with SAMUEL HYKES, who died in the 
lifetime of her father, to wit, LEAH, JESSE, HENRY, JACOB, and SAMUEL, that 
the intestate, died seized in his demesasne as of fee of and in a certain 
messuage and tract of land containing about twenty seven acres situated in 
Manchester township, York County, on the turnpike road leading from York to 
York Haven adjoining lands of SAMUEL HYKES, DANIEL GROSS, CHRISTIAN HARTMAN 
and others, and praying to court to grant an inquest to make partition or 
division of said messuage and tract of land and premises with the 
appurtenances and among the children and issue of intestate it the same will 
admit."
