            Adam Maurer, Orphans Court, 1792
  
  To the Worshipfull the Judges of the Orphans Court held at York for
  the County of York the 2nd day of October 1799.
  
  The petition of John Mourer, eldest son and heir at Law of Adam
  Mourer late of York County deceased, Humbly Sheweth.
  
  That your petitioners father Adam Mourer died Intestate some time in
  the summer of the year AD 1792 leaving a widow named Catharine and
  tow sons viz your Petitioner intestates eldest son and Adam Mourer
  and infant under the Guardianship of George Eyster and four daughters
  viz  Mary intermarried with Nicholas Wolf, Barbara intermarried with
  George Slagle, Margaret intermarreid with Burk Wertz, and Elisabeth a
  minor under the Guardianship of George Eyster, lawfull issue to
  survive him.
  
  That the said Intestate died seized in fee simple of one Messuage and
  Tract of land and appurtenances containing one hundred and sixty acres
  and allowance or thereabout situate in Straban Township York County
  adjoining land of Jacob Wertz, Jacob Dederick, George Eyster and
  others.
  
  That the said widow and children hold the said Messuage and Tract of
  land and premises as tenants in common and undivided.  your
  Petitioner therefore pray the Court to appoint an Inquest to make
  partition of the said messuage land and tenements to and amongst the
  widow and children of said Intestate, if the same will admit of such
  partition or division without prejudice to or spoiling the whole but
  if the same will not admit of such partition without prejudice to or
  spoiling the whole, then to value this whole and ____ equably to the
  directions of the act of Assembly in such case made and provided etc.

  Came into Court Margaret Mourrer aged Sixteen Years Daughter of Adam
  Mourer Deceased and prayed to be permitted to Choose a Guardian and
  on being asked by the Court Named Jacob Wert Whereupon the Court
  approve of and appoint the said Jacob Wert to be Guardian of The
  person and Estate of said Minor.
  
  Came into Court John Mourer aged fourteen years and upwards, Son of
  Adam Mourer Deceased and prayed to be permitted to Choose a Guardian,
  and on being asked by the Court Named Abraham Lettlewalter.  Whereupon
  the Court approve of and appoint the Said Abrahm to be Guardian of the
  Person and Estate of sd Minor
  
  Came into Court Samuel Frey Administrator of Adam Mourer Decd and
  prayed that the Guradian may be appointed For Adam Mourer aged Eleven
  Years, Elizabeth Mourer Aged nine years Children of Adam Mourer
  Deceased Whereupon the Court appoint George Oyster Guardian of the
  Person and Estate of Said Minors.
