Written: June 6, 1774

Came into Court Esther Witrecht (late Esther Herman) and prayed that a guardian 
might be appointed for Philip Herman a minor her son by Nicholas Herman her 
late husband Deceased  Whereupon it is ordered by the Court that Philip 
Wintermyer be and is hereby appointed to be guardian over the Person and Estate 
of the said Philip Herman and that Philip Kreber his former guardian be and is 
hereby Discharged.

Additional Comments:
Esther Herman, nee Shwenk, the widow of Nicholas Herman, married second to 
Michael Witterecht/Witrecht (Whitright).  Michael Witterecht of Manchester 
Township, York County, Pennsylvania, died there in 1793.
