Although the enrollment was not as large as in former years many more pupils will commence their studies after the fall work on the farm is finished. The township put the various buildings in first class condition for the opening by having them thoroughly cleaned and repaired. New black-boards were installed in the schools, while the interior of the building were painted with alabastine. The schools opened with the following instructors: Menges Mills, Allen E. Jacobs; Thomasville, secondary, H. E. Eyster; primary, Miss Mabel E. Moul; Nashville secondary, Harry Hoke; primary, J. N. Falkenstine; Picking’s, Harry Lauer; Moul’s, Miss Edna Strack; Roth’s, Miss Ruth Jacobs; John Mummert’s, Clarence Myers; Henry Mummert’s, Norman Moul; Rearich’s, the Rev. George W. Welsh.
