H. Shindel ; Eisenhart's, Henry Altland; Hake's, Jacob F. Sunday; Aughenbaugh's, J. Edward Fink; Emigsville secondary, Archie Kohr; primary, Mamie Wintermyer; Foust's, S. Mary Stable; Springdale, J. Allen Altland; Lightner's, Bertha Fisher. The board organized by electing Charles Brenneman, president; Latimer Crone, treasurer; and W. F. Mundis, secretary. The board decided to buy a barrel of floor oil and oil all the schoolrooms in the township. The schools will open Monday, September 1, for a seven months term. The Gazette - Thursday, July 24, 1913
