An old church stood near by for nearly half a century. In 1868 the building now standing was erected at a cost of about $2,800. It has recently been remodeled and attractively painted. There is a burying ground adjoining it. This church is supplied by the minister of Airville Circuit, a description of which will be found in the history of Lower Chanceford.
