For the past few years a graded system has been adopted.  During the last session William H. 
Weaver and William H. Lehmer were the teachers.  An annual appropriation of $65 is received 
from the State.  The school board for 1885 is as follows:  Peter Heiges, president; Capt. John 
Klugh, secretary; George Lehmer, treasurer; Jesse Wagner, A. B. Elicker and William Heiges.
