Smith, in 1868, first preached once every four weeks at this place. It soon after became a regular appointment in the York Circuit of the Church of the United Brethren in Christ, under Rev. A. H. Rice, who was instrumental in having built the present chapel in 1872. It now belongs to Dallastown charge. The membership is fifty; Sunday-school membership, sixty; trustees – William Wineka, Henry Wineka and Henry Stabely. Around this church there is a pleasant little village.
