Stony Brook is a hamlet of recent origin along the Wrightsville Branch Railroad, 
where it crosses the York & Wrightsville Turnpike.  There are ten houses there, 
including some very fine ones, store, postoffice, coal yard and warehouse.

The Mennonite meeting house is a distance south of this place.
