York Township has twelve public schools as follows:  Stiles’ Innersville, Jessop’s, 
Taylor’s, Brenneman’s, Kohler’s, Sprenkle’s, Mark’s, Keener’s, Adamsville, Nace’s 
and Croll’s.  The State appropriating for 1884 was $518.83.
