April 3rd 1827
Be it remembered that Michael Doudle Esq. high Sheriff of the county of York 
came into court this day and acknowledged his deed bearing date the second day 
of April A.D. 1827 Unto Samuel BAIRD for a certain tract of Land containing 
One Hundred and Forty Acres more or less, with a Log house, log barn and log 
Stile House thereon erected Situate in Hopewell township, adjoining the lands 
of Conrad NOON, John HOOBER and others, seized and taken in Execution as the 
Estate of Levi BADDERS and Conrad NOON and afterwards sold and struck off unto 
the Said Samuel BAIRD for the sum of one hundred and eleven dollars, he being 
the best and highest bidder for the same, in pursuance of a wit of vendue 
Eps...to the said Sheriff for that purpose directed.
