Between Thomas BOYD and Elinor his wife of Fawn Township York county and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania of the one part, and John MARSTILLER of West Caln Township, Chester County and Commonwealth aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Thomas BOYD and Elinor his wife for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand and five hundred and seventy five dollars current money of the United States to hem in hand paid by the said John MARSTILLER at and before the ensealing and delivering hereof the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge and thereof acquit and forever discharge the said John MARSTILLER heirs, Executors and Administrators, by these presents; Have granted, bargained, sold, aliened ensseoffed, released and confirmed and by these presents grant, bargain, sell, alien, ensseoff, release and confirm unto the said John MARSTILLER and to his heirs and assigns forever. All that Plantation whereon he the said Thomas BOYD now liveth, situate in Fawn Township, York County and Commonwealth aforesaid, called Good Will, containing eighty seven and a half acres of land, adjoining lands late of William MOOBERY and others. Being the west division and moiety of a larger tract, called Fellowship this larger tract was originally granted by a proprietory patent to a certain Issral MORRIS, who sold and conveyed to a John HURSH, who sold and conveyed to a Thomas CORBIN, who by Thomas SHARP, who sold and conveyed to the Grantor in these presents Thomas BOYD. BEGINNING at a Hickory Tree in the northwest corner of said larger track and those north seventy two degrees E and eighty two perches to a stone, thence south eighteen and a quarter degrees west two hundred and twelve perches to a stone thence south sixty four degrees west eighty perches to a stone, thence north forty nine degrees west twenty four perches to a stone, thence north fifty seven degrees East fifty three perches to a black oak tree, thence north two degrees west sixty one perches to a stone, thence north twenty one degrees East one hundred and seven perches in their ..ker in the BEGINNING containing as aforesaid. Together with all and singular other the houses, put houses, buildings, barn, stables, ways, woods, waters,ent----, lights, --bortion, priviliges, heretitaments anon appurtanances what ever the ... belonging, or in any widse appurtances and the revisions and remainders, rents, iss--- and profits the ---, and also all the Estate, right, titles of them be said Thomas BOYD and Elinor his wife in law or equity, or other wise has howsoever, of in --- out of the same. TO HAVE and to hold the said eighty seven acres and one half of land as the same is above described heretentaments paid premises, hereby granted, or mentioned, or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto, the said John MARSTILLER and to his heirs and assigns, to the only proper use assigns forever, excepting the privileges and benefit of a stream of water as mentioned in a Deed to John SHARP who possesses the other mosiety or half part of and Elinor his wife for their heirs, Executor and agree to and with the said John MARSTILLER his heirs and assigns by these presents, that they the said Thomas BOYD and Elinor his wife and their heirs, the above mentioned and described tract of eight seven and a half acres of lands, hereditaments and premises hereby granted, or mentioned unto the said John MARSTILLER his heirs and assigns, against them the said Thomas BOYD and Elinor his wife and their heirs and against all and every other person and persons whosoever lawfully claiming or to claim by from or under him, them or defend by these presents. IN WITNESS whereof, there hands and seals, the day and year first above written SIGNED Thomas BOYD Elenor BOYD Sealed and delivered in presence of Wm ANDERSON Alex. ANDERSON Received the day of the date of the above written Indenture of the above named the sum of fifteen hundred and seventy five dollars being the full consideration above mentioned. WITNESS by hand Wm. ANDERSON SIGNED Thomas BOYD York County Ss Before me the subscriber on of the Justices of the peace in and for said County personally appeared Thomas BOYD and Elenor his wife and acknowledged the foregoing Indenture to be their act and Deed and desired that the same might be Recorded as such. And she the said Elenor having been by me examined as law directs, declareeth that she freely and voluntarily did sign and seal the same and was not in any wise force or demanded by her said Husband in said Act. IN TESTIMONY where I have hereunto set my hand and seal at Fawn Township September the second day 1814.
