Deed: 1761 Elijah Etting to John Wagner Location: Huntington Township, York County (now Adams County), Pennsylvania ________________________________________________________________________________ 8 Jan 1761 Between Elijah Etting of Yorktown, Shoekeeper and John Wagner of same place, shoemaker for - 80 pounds (no acreage given) - plantation and tract of land situated in Huntington township at joining lands of John Graham and William Harrone - being the same which was granted to John Richy by warrant bearing date 9 Mar 1753 and by same John Richy to John Richmond - same plantation and tract of land was taken in execution by Hance Hamilton, Esq late high sheriff and by him sold to aforesaid Elijah Etting as by deed dated 22 Mar 1757 and entered at York in Book "A" Page 218. Elijah Etting Witnesses: Thomas Armor and Jonathan Boyd Received day and date of above of John Wagner 80 pounds in full. Elijah Etting acknowledged the above 8 Jan 1761 as his act and deed.
