Whereas John Farmer of the County of Lancaster hath requefted that we would grant him to take up One hundred Acres of Land Situated in Manchester Township adjoining Willam Papismore's land at the head of Joseph Bennet's Em in the said County of Lancaster for which he agrees to pay to our Ufe the Sum of Fifteen Pounds Ten Shillings current Money of the Province, for said Hundred Acres, and the yearly Quit-rent of one Half-penny Sterling for every Acres therof; THESE are therefore to au- thorize and require thee to furvey of caufe to be furveyed unto the faid John Farmer at the aforefaid, accoding to the Method of Townfhips appointed, the faid Quanity of 100 Acres, if not already furveyed or appropriated, and make Return thereof into the Secretary's Office, in order for furthey Confirmation; for which this fhall be thy fufficient Warrant; which survey, in cafe the faid John Farmer fulfill the above Agreement within Six Months from the Date hereof, fhall be valid, otherwife void.
