We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ YORK COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA DEED BOOK K PAGE 358 359 360 p358 Anthony Kneissley to Henry Sehlis This Indenture, Made the Sixteenth Day of June Anno Domini, One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Six, Between Anthony Kneissley of Warrington Township in the County of York and State of Pennsylvania Yeoman of the One part, and Henry p359 Sehli of of Berwick Township in the County of York aforesaid Yeoman of the other Part: Whereas the said Anthony Kneissley of in and by the certain obligation or writings obligatory under his hand and not bearing Date respectively with these presents Standeth Bound unto the said Hen- ry Sehli in the sum One Hundred and Sixty two pounds in real Gold and Silver Current Lawful Money of Pennsylvania Conditioned for the payment of Eighty One pounds of like lawful Money aforesaid at or upon the fifteenth Day of June next Ensuing with lawful Interest for the same from the Eighteenth day of May last past as in and by the said obligation and condition thereof. Relation being there unto and more fully and at large appears. Now This Indenture Wit- nesseth That the said Anthony Kneissley for and in Consideration of the aforesaid Debt or sum of One Hundred and Sixty two pounds Gold and Silver money Current as aforesaid and for the better secruing the pay- ment thereof unto the said Henry Sehli his Heirs Executors Administra- tors and Assigns in discaharge of the said recited obligation and in Con- sideration of the further sum of Five Shilling by the said Henry Sehli to the said Anthony Kneissley in hand paid at the ensealing and delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. Hath granted Bargained sold aliened Released enseossed and Confirmed and by these foresaid Doth Grant Bargain, sell, alien, release enseoss and Confirm unto the said Henry Sehli and to his Heirs and Assigns all that the following and Described Tract of Land which is Situate lying and being in War- rington and Manahan Township in the County of York aforesaid, boun- ded and limitted as follows to wit: Beginning at a Marked white Oak, thence by Lands of Henry Wohlgemuth South Eighty Eight degrees West eighty perches & two tenths to a post thence by Lands of Michael Kneisly South fity three degrees west fifty eight perches and two thenths to a post thence by Peter Bachmans land South Seventy three degrees West One Hundred & thirty seven perches to a marked white oak thence by Lands of John Boyers South Twenty three degrees & an half west forty perches to a marked Spanish Oak, thence by Land of Felix Bentzle, South forty two degrees East twenty two perches to Stones, North seventy three degrees West One Hundred & Twenty One perches to a Marked Black Oak by land of George Kneissley, thence by the same North Eighty four degrees & an half East forty three perches and two thenths to a Marked black oak; North Sixty degrees East thirty Six perches to a post South Twenty nine degrees East thirty eight perches to a psot; North Sixty five degrees East fifty nine perches to a post, thence by lands of John Fickes North two degrees west eighty one perches and six tenths to the place of Beginning. Containing One Hundred and five acres and Eighty Six perches & allowance. It being part of a larger Tract of Two Hundred & Sixty three acres & One Hundred & twelve perches & allowance of Land which in Purferance of a Warrant Granted to William Bittner bearing date at Phila- delphia the 30th day of April Anno Domini 1765 was surveyed and laid of, and the said William Bittner by his Deed Poll bearing date the Six- teenth Day of February in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy five for the Consideration therein Mentioned did grant bar- gain sell and Confirm the same unto the above named Anthony Kneissley So Sold to him the said Anthony Kneissley his heirs and assigns (party hereto) and to his Heirs and Assigns forever as in and by the said Deed Poll Recorded in the Office for Recording of Deeds in and for the County of York in Book F page 262 Ye Refference having thereunto respectively had may more fully and at Large appear] Together with all and (Singular) p360 Singular the Houses, Out Houses, Edifices and Buildings therein erected and Built, profits, Commodities advantage conduments, hereditdorients, and appurtences and whatsoever thereunto belonging et in any wise appertaining and the Rever- scosse, Remainders, unto Issues and profits thereof To Have and to Hold the said One Hundred & five acres & eighty Six perches & allowances of Land, Hereditaments and premises hereby Granted Mentioned or inten- ded is to be with the appurtenances unto the aforesaid Henry Sehli his Heirs and Assigns to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said Henry Sehli his Heirs and Assigns forever. Provided always nevertheless that if the said Anthony Kneissley his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns shall and do well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Henry Sehli his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns the aforesaid Debt or Sum of Eighty One pounds on the day and time herein before mentioned and appointed for the payment thereof with the Interest According to the Con- dition of the said Recited Obligation without fraud or further delay & without any deduction defalcation or abatement to be made of any thing for or in Respect of any tapes charges or assignment whatsoever that then and from thenceforth as well this present Indenture, as the estate hereby Granted & the said Recited obligation shall cease determine & become absolutely void to all intents & purposes whatso- ever any thing herein Contained to the Contrary in any wise notwithstanding In Witness whereof the said parties to these presents have interchangeably set their hand & seals.
