We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ YORK COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA DEED BOOK K PAGE 396 397 396 Know all men by these Presents that Whereas George Knessly of the Town of Hanover in the County of York and State of Pennsylvania having under his hand and Seal Executed unto me Paul Sheafer the Subscriber hereof an Indenture of a Mortgage bearing Date the Fourteenth Day of December which was in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty five for my Security and Indemnity of the payment of the Sum of Seventy five Pounds for which Sum I had become bail for the siad George Knes- sly unto a Certain Phillip Millhose as in and by the said Mortgage Recorded in the Office for Recording of Deeds in and for the County of York in Mortgage Book F? page 48. Reference hereunto had may more appear, and whereas the said George Knessly having Since fully Sattisfyed and Discharged the said sum of a Money Contained in the said Mortgage unto the said Philip Millhose by which I am fully Sattisfyed. Now Know Ye that I the said Paul Sheafer Do by these presents Nominate and appoint my frend Henry Welsh Esq. for my Lawfull Attorney for me and in my name and Stead to Refer to the Recorders Office for the County of York and then and there before the Recorder of Deeds for the said County to acknowledge and Enter Sat- tisfaction in the Margin of the Record aforesaid for the Principal sum of Seventy five pounds in full Discharge of the Mortgage and of the obligations therein Recited and for his so doing this shall be his Sufficient warrant. In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this Twenty fourth Day of August in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Six.
