James Hunter, Jacob Rorabeck, Thomas Robinson, Jacob Higby/Stiley? originally surveyed for Andrew Leidick 10 Sept 1753 œ550 This Indenture made the eighteenth day of January in the Ninth year of the Reign of our Severign Lord George the third by the Grace of God King of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and in the Year of our Lord God One thousand and seven hundred and sixty nine. Between Peter Little of Germany township in the county of York and Profince of Pennsylvania Yeoman of the one part and Ludwig Miller of the township County and province aforesaid Yeoman of the other part Whereas in pursuance of a Warrant from the Honorable the Repre____ of the Province of Pensilvania bearing date at Philadelphia the Tenth day of September on which was in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and fifty three was surveyed and laid out unto a certain Andrew Leidick a certain tract of land situate lying and being in Mountjoy Township county and Province aforesaid adjoining the lands of James Hunter, Jacob Roraback, Thomas Robinson and Jacob (could be Higby or Stiley?) Including his improvements containing by Estimation three hundred acres be the same more or less as by the said Warrant and survay remaining in the Survey General Office at Philadelphia may appear And whereas the aforesaid Andrew Leidick afterwards died intestate leaving lawful issue Andrew Leidick John Leidick Catharine Leidick Mary Leidick and Jacob Leidick his children and lawful heirs. And whereas the aforesaid Andrew Leidick and John Leidick by an instrument of writting under the hands and ____ executed bearing date the twenty eight day of January which was in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty four, and for the consideration therein mentioned did grant and convey all these shears or purport of the before discribed tract of land with the appurtances unto the afore said Peter Little his heirs and assigns for ever And whereas the aforesaid Catherine Leidick Mary Leidick & Jacob Leidick by one other instrument of writting under there (sic) hands and seals duly executed bearing date the eighteenth day of February which was in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty eight and for the considerations therein mentioned did grant and convey all there shears or perport of the before described tract of land with the appurtanances unto the aforesaid Peter Little and to his heirs and assigns forever as by the said instrument may appear. Now this indencture witnesses that the said Peter Little for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred and fifty pounds lawful money of Pensilvania to him in hand paid by the aforesaid Ludwig Miller before the ______ of these presesnts the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged in the aforesaid Peter Little hath granted bargained sold released and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell a___, and confirm unto the aforesaid Ludwig Miller and to his heirs and assigns forever all that ___ ___ afore described tract of three hundred acres of land __ ___ more or less. together with all ___ and singular the buildings and improvements thereon erected and made rights _____ hereditaments and appurtanances whatso-----said tract of land belonging or in anywise appertaining and being within the bound and limits thereof and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and also all the Estate right title interest property use possession claim and demand whatever of him the aforesaid Peter Little of in and to the same and every part thereof with the appurtenances, to have and to hold the aforesaid tract of three hundred acres more or less of land and premises hereby granted mentioned or intended so to be and every part thereof with the appurtenances unto the aforesaid Ludwig Miller his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the aforesaid Ludwig Miller his heirs and assigns for ever subject nevertheless to the payments of the residue of the purchase money interest quitrents and other reservations due and to be come due and to be reserved on the same to the honourable the propriatoris of the proviince aforesaid there heirs and successors And the aforesaid Peter Little and his heirs do hereby further command promise and grant to and with the aforesaid Ludwig Miller his heirs and assigns the Before discribed Tract of land and premisses to warrant and defend from and against him the aforesaid Peter Little and his heirs and from and against all lawfull claims from by or under him them or any of them unto the aforesaid Ludwig Miller his heirs and assigns for ever In witness whereof the aforesaid Peter Little to these presents hath sett his hand and seal the day and year afsd Signed seald & Delivered in presents of us Johannes ______- Adam Wintrot Peter Little seal Received on the day of the date of the foregoing instrument of writing of the before named Ludwig Miller the sum of five hundred and fifty pounds current money of Pensylvania in full of the consideration money aforesaid, witness present at signing Johannes Zubnar?
