Joy Twp. 2 April 1772 Know all men by these presents that I Lodwick Miller York County and Germany Township and Provice of Pensylvania do sell over unto Henry Myers of the county and Province aforesaid one hundred and fifty seven acres of land lying in Monjoy(sic) township being the one half of the plantation that Lodwick Miller Junior lives on, being that part adjoining the lands of James Hunter and Thomas Larimore with the one half of the Orchard for and in consideration of two hundred and fifty pounds Pensylvnia (sic) currency to be paid in manner and form as follows, one the first day of May in the year 1773 twenty five pounds and yearly ___ every year upon the first day of May twenty five pounds until the whole is paid. And I the sd Lodwick Miller for myself my Heirs Executors Administrators and _____ of them have bargained and sold unto the sd Henry Myers his heirs executors and Administrators, and I the sd Lodwick Miller do warrant and defend the same unto Hennery (sic) Myers from all Moor (?) or maner of Personsl that may or shall lay claims to sd tract of land In Witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this 2d day of Aprile (sic) 1772 Signed and delivered Ludwig Miller seal in the presence of us John Galt Michael Dotters Junr. York County Before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace and of the common Pleas in and for the county of York personally came John Galt one of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing deed bill (poll?) and on his solomn oath on the Holy Exam ____ of Almighty God doth declare, that he was personally present and saw and heard Ludwick Miller sign his name unto and seal and deliver the said above written deed Poll as his act of deed of that at the same time he the said Ludwick Miller was of sound mind of a memory to the best of this deponants knowledge, and that the name John Galt was of this deponants own hand writing of that he did also see Michael Dotters Junior the other subscribing witness subscribe his name thereto as a witness at the same time.
