MARSHALL, widow KLINEFELTER, John KLINEFELTER, by new Strasburg ---------- THIS INDENTURE made the first day of May Anno Domini ond thousand eight hundred and thirteen Between Christina MILLER and Andrew MILLER administrators of the estate of Matthias MILLER late of Shrewsbury Township in the county of York deceased of the one part and Jacob SPANGLER of the Borough of York in the said County Esq. of the other part. Whereas the Orphans Court of this said County on the sixteenth day of February they asked to order and direct the aforesaid administrators to poll a track of land situate in Shrewsbury Township aforesaid the estate of this said Matthias MILLER deceased for the payment of the residue of his debts unpaid by his personal estate and a support of his minor children and in pursuance of said order after legal notice first given this said estate was sold at public vendue onto this said Jacob SPANGLER which sale was accordingly confirmed by this said Court on the ninth day of April last, all which may fully appear by the Records of said the court. NOW THIS INDENTURE witnesseth that the said Christina MILLER and Matthias MILLER in consideration of the sum of one thousand thirteen hundred and sixty seven dollars and sixty seven cents being the price bidding for they said estate paid them by the said Jacob SPANGLER is the receipt of which in many and securities is hereby acknowledged granted bargained and sold and by the bees presents do grant bargain and sell onto the said Jacob SPANGLER his heirs all the above mentioned the estate bounded and described by corners and distances of survey as follows. Beginning at stones in the line of William M. MARSHALLS land thence by lands by the same South seventy three degrees west forty seven perches to a double white oak then as North seventy three degrees and a half west by thirty nine perches to a hickory thence North eighty eight degrees west seventy seven perches to a chestnut, thence by a widow KLINEFELTERs land North thirteen degrees west seventy five perches and four tends to a chestnut oak, thence by lands of John KLINEFELTER and others North forty eight degrees to a quarter East one hundred and eighty five perches to stones, thence by new Strasburg town land south fourteen degrees and a half East twenty perches to stones thence North eighty three degrees west eight perches four tenths to a post south twelve degrees and a half East eighteen perches to a post North seventy degrees of a half west five perches to a post thence South fourteen degrees east thirty six perches in three tenths to a post North fifty nine degrees east fifteen perches to a post south eleven degrees in the quarter each thirty nine perches to a post south six degrees of a quarter East fifty perches to a post south ten degrees east thirty nine perches to the place of Beginning Containing one hundred and thirty two acres fifty three perches and allowance Together with all the buildings, improvements, riots and appurtenances to the same belonging war in any wise appertaining – TO HAVE and to hold the above described premises and appurtenances granted onto the said Jacob SPANGLER his heirs and assigns pretty use of this said Jacob SPANGLER his heirs and assigns forever as fully and for such estate as the same was held by the said Matthias MILLER at his decease.
