High Sheriff of the county of York came into court this day and acknowledged his deed patent the second day of April 1827 to Henry HAMMOND for a certain tract of land, containing 160 acres more or less, situate in Hopewell Township, with a log house, log warrant, log spring house and log Tenant's House thereon erected, adjoining the lands of Jacob LANIUS, James EDIE and others. Seized and taken and execution as the estate of Conrad NOON, and air their words of sold and struck off onto the said Henry HAMMOND for this sum of $533, he being the higher and best bidder for the same, and pursuance of a writ of Ventitioni Exponas, to the said Sheriff for the purposes directed.
