Irvin, in the Pennsylvania line…” “That he has one old shotgun (without a lock) and shot bag worth 2 dollars. That he is, by profession, a blacksmith, but altogether unable to pursue it, being very inform and scarcely able to walk, and that he has no person in family except himself.” “Lawrence County, Indiana, December 2nd, 1837, Nancy McLean, aged 88 years: “That she is the widow of the late Daniel McLean who was a pensioner in the County of Scott, and state of Kentucky...She further declares that she was married to said Daniel McLean sometime in the month of August 1770 in York County, Pennsylvania, and that she is unable to obtain any record evidence of her marriage. That five of her oldest children have departed this life, and that Robert McLean, her 6th son was born in December 1780, and that her husband aforesaid, Daniel McLean, died on the 6th day of June 1821.” Records transcribed from Nancy McLean’s family Bible.
