He is now in a fair way to a speedy recovery. Sunday School Celebration The Strinestown Union Sunday school will hold a celebration on Saturday the 30th, of July, in Mr. Prowel's woods, about one-fourth mile east of Strinestown. The woods will be decorated with spruce and flowers. All kinds of refreshments sold upon the ground. Music will be furnished by the Strinestown Citizens' cornet band. The band will receive their new uniforms and be in full dress. All are invited. MARRIED THOMAS - MARTIN. - On the 21st of July, 1892, at Trinity Evangelical parsonage, 229 East King street, by Rev. U. F. Swengel, Harry G. Thomas, of East Prospect, and Miss Lizzie Martin, of York. DIED ERWIN - On July 27, 1892 Mabel Estella, the young daughter of Mr. E. Erwin, 151 North Duke street, aged 8 months. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the funeral from the parents' residence this (Thursday) afternoon at 5 o'clock. Interment at Union cemetery. GLADFELTER - On the 27th inst., at 10:45 a.m., Wesley Gladfelter, aged 43 years, 7 months and 20 days. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from his late residence, No. 43- West King street, tomorrow (Friday) morning. Short service at the house at 8 o'clock. Services and interment at Zeigler's church.
