Nace, of Baltimore Street, transacted business at York this morning. John H. Miller, of Walnut Street, will spend Sunday with friends at Littlestown. D. F. Dubs, of Abbottstown Street, transacted business at Spring Grove, this morning. Miss Lizzie Breil, of Gettysburg, is the guest of Miss Bessie Anthony, of Frederick Street. F. X. Kuhn, of High Street, will spend Sunday with his son, J. A. Kuhn, at Gettysburg. Ralph Felty, of Baltimore, is visiting his parents, George Felty and wife, of Baltimore Street. Harry Bange, of York, is visiting his mother, Mrs. Jacob Bange, of Franklin Street, over Sunday. Miss Lizzie Brandstaedter, of East Middle Street, returned this morning from a visit to friends in Baltimore. J. Luther Hoffacker, of Manchester, returned home this morning after a visit to V. R. Wentz, of Abbottstown Street. Miss Emma Ruff, of Littlestown, will spend Sunday with the family of her uncle, D. H. Ditzler, of East Middle Street. Mrs. Harry F. Bowman and daughter, of East Middle Street, are visiting her parents, ex-sheriff L. H. Grenawald and wife, at York. Mill Lola Fuhrman, daughter of G. P. Fuhrman, of near Hampstead, has returned home from a six months' visit to relatives in Paris, Kentucky. George Klingel, formerly of Littlestown, but now of Baltimore, is now visiting at Littlestown, and will give an entertainment in Mehring's hall this evening. Miss Bertha Kuhn, for several years under training as a nurse at a hospital in Norfolk, Virginia, returned home yesterday to spend a few months with her parents, Edward J. Kuhn and wife, of Willowdale, near town. To Attend Normal Schools. Miss A. Gertrude Miller, a daughter of Rev. E. D. Miller, of Baltimore Street, expects to leave next week for the Bloomsburg Normal School, where she will take a course with the expectation of preparing herself for teaching. Mill Miller is a graduate of the class of '98 of the Hanover High School, and the best wishes of her many friends will go with her. Miss Kate Bair, of near McSherrystown, will leave on Monday, March 27th, for Shippensburg to take a course in the Normal School. The Sick. The condition of Mrs. Eliza Isaacs, of Frederick Street, who has been quite ill for the past week, is much improved to-day. W. H. Emlet, of Franklin Street, on the sick list for the last five weeks, is able to go out again. He was down at the barn last evening to feed his horse and hogs, but to-day he is housed up by the rain.
