Peoples formerly resided in Lancaster county, but resided in York the past seven years, and lately has been employed about Tyson’s stable. BRIEF LOCALS Born to Roman F. Snydeman, 640 East Market street, a daughter. A number of York men were entertained at an oyster roast at Riverview Mansion, Wago, Saturday, by Willis A. Robinson. It was a most enjoyable occasion, about twenty persons participating. The literature committee of the Young People’s Guild will hold an entertainment next Tuesday evening at the home of Harry Yardley, 781 Linden avenue. A delightful program has been arranged for the occasion. Mrs. Raymond Baughman, of New Oxford, was discharged from the West Side Sanitarium yesterday. PERSONALS Charles M. Yohn, of Lancaster, is visiting relatives and friends in this city. Judge and Mrs. Nevin M. Warner, 406 Market street, left Saturday for Atlantic City, where they will remain one week. Mrs. M. A. Myers, --- West Market street, is entertaining Mrs. James E. Kohler, of Baltimore. Mrs. Jane Kerr, of Selinsgrove, Snyder county, is visiting at the home of her cousin, Charles W. Myers, 207 South Pine street. Mrs. Samuel Balmer, of Harrisburg, is spending some time at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Shearer, --- East Poplar street. Mrs. Warren E. Peters, 760 West Market street, Friday entertained her brother, Joseph Obert, of Mechanicsburg, Cumberland county. Mrs. Marie Hutchinson, of Peterson, N.J., is spending several months at the home of her niece, Mrs. M. A. Myers, --- West Market street. Miss Jessie Morner(?), of Mechanisburg, Cumberland county, spent Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Cocklin, 760 West Market street. Mr. and Mrs. William Hain, 7-- West Poplar street, are spending several days with relatives and friends in Harrisburg, Steelton and Oberlin. Mrs. Maria Kraft, of ----land, Shrewsbury township, is visiting friends in this city. Mrs. Harry Myers and daughter, Edna, 71- East Philadelphia street, who have been visiting at the home of the former’s parents in Harrisburg, have returned home. Mrs. Pearl Gotwalt, of ----town, Dauphin county, is spending several days in this city with relatives. Harry George, a member of the firm of the York Wood Working company, West King street, West York, spent Saturday in Coatesville.
