Baile is now lying in a serious condition at her home, 24 Ridge avenue. Mrs. Baile has bee in ill health for the past twelve years, suffering from various diseases, which brought on nervous trouble. It is probable that in taking some medicine Sunday morning she got hold of the wrong bottle and drank a quantity of the acid. Her screams brought the husband from downstairs, who found her lying across the foot of the bed. Medical aid was called at once and a strong antidote administered, which will probably save her life, although her mouth and throat are severely burned. Mrs. Baile is about thirty years of age and the mother of three children. The Gazette - Tuesday, December 23, 1913 [There was only one Charles W. Baile on the 1910 census. His wife was listed as Rena S and there were three children in the home]
