Woman Shoots at Burglar

Mrs. George Baublitz, who resides with two daughters in the Pigeon hills, 
frightened away a burglar who was entering her home early last Tuesday morning, 
and it is believed that one of the bullets fired after the fleeing intruder took 
effect.  Mrs. Baublitz discovered the burglar as he was climbing through the 
kitchen window.  She fired at him as he jumped to the ground and she says he 
uttered a cry of pain almost simultaneously with the discharge of the revolver.  
He escaped to the woods nearby.  Although the burglar wore a mask, Mrs. Baublitz 
says she believes she could identify him.
