Face and Hand Scalded

Miss Arlene Bowman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bowman, of East Middle 
Street, met with a painful accident while assisting her mother at dinner on 
Thursday.

She had just removed the lid from a kettle of boiling water when the steam 
scalded the one side of her face, also her right hand.
